It's a tough day for the Cincinnati Bengals, who don't have a lot of time to reflect on their last-second loss to the Chargers over the weekend. Instead, they're in New Orleans to pay their final respects to receiver Chris Henry, who passed away last week and was remembered by many this weekend during the Week 15 games.
This is one of those "silver lining" kind of stories, because Henry's death is a great tragedy, but some good has come out of it. You see, Henry was an organ donor, and according to WLWT in Cincinnati, he's already helped save the lives of five people.
Another Bengal, Carson Palmer, will be part of a state-wide campaign to encourage organ donation in the near future. Palmer received a tissue donation after his knee injury against the Steelers in the 2006 playoffs.
